Congrats Dr. Zhang!

Today, Quan successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled: Imaging and Analysis of Layered Crust and Upper Mantle Structures on Earth and Mars. We are incredibly proud of him! Members of his thesis examination committee include Profs. Karen Fischer (Brown University) and Glenn Milne (uOttawa), and Drs. Claire Perry and Mareike Adams (CHIS - NRCan).

Quan is now headed to Australia, where he will start a postdoctoral fellowship with Prof. Hrvoje Tkalkic at ANU in September 2026.
